New update 2.5.2 broke the app

Was working great until the update :( Now every time I enter the password it says unknown error. I deleted the app and reinstalled and still not working. Please give us the old app!

Update 2.5.2 BREAKS APP

Since updating, I like the other users are unable to use this. Tried to go the support site but you need to have a login to use the bug tracker. VERY angry as now my DB is inacessible. Going to go get MiniKeepass now until they are able to fix this, which might take some time based on past history.

Working fine now

Tested in version 2.13 and 2.19 file.

Awesome again

I wasnt very happy after the last update made the app useless and unable to open my password file. However, the quick response and hot fix have resolved the issue. Thank you! Maybe QA process can be improved for the future so an update that breaks so many users doesnt happen again.

Update 2.5.3 Still Completely Dead on iOS 4.2.1

The 2.5.3 Update to 2.5.2 also crashes every time on my 3G. it had been working before 2.5.2 If its no longer compatible with iOS4.x then please let us know. Thanks for your work on this but it appears there will be base of 3G owners faced with either a new app or new hardware. The 3G presents as an inexpensive, nearly disposable platform for iOS that still serves millions around the world, and many depend on Keepass/iKeepass because of its open source roots.

3G owner, after update wont start.

After the last update the wont start. Useless now.

Very Useful In Combination With Dropbox

I spent a long time searching for a solid app that supports loading my KeePass database from Dropbox. This turned out to be the best solution and Ive used it on many occasions to copy/paste my password to log-in from my phone. I was really happy until I turned on multi-factor authentication for Dropbox. With multi-factor authentication turned on, this app appears to be unable to log-in and download my KeePass database. All in all, I cant complain considering this app only cost 99 cents!

Having trouble getting it to work

Been trying to get this app to work for half a day. No doc. No help in app. No real website. No support. Check for yourself. Seems to be vaporware. I will update if I make progress.

Cannot get it to work.

I have tried opening a v2 kdbx with a key file & password and the application hangs and I have to restart my iPad. No support any ware.

Used to be great app

Worked great till about 3 weeks ago. Now you can not access your current file in dropbox, it just hangs at log in. Hope they fix it soon.

Great app Use with Dropbox

I have used Keepass for years but didnt realize they now had an IPad app. This is a simple and cheap way to keep track of your passwords. I put the database in my Dropbox, which gives you 2 gig free, and load Dropbox on my iPad and I get instant access to my password vault wherever I am. Once you have the free Dropbox app on your iPad the I keepass automatically recognizes it.

Great app, but theres a sorting bug

The application works great and is more than worth the purchase cost. Any time a new bug appears or the file format changes, the auther is quick to read user feedback and take care of the issues. Current release doesnt keep track of the sorting. All my new entries appear after older entires.

Works well after brainstorming; remove your exe files!

This little app works well now that I have figured out why it kept crashing!! I primarily use KeePass Password Safe on my computer but I sometimes need to access my passwords when my computer is not handy. In earlier versions of this app, I could store .kdb files that included executable attachments on my iPhone and easily open them. NOT ANY MORE! Once I removed the exe from my .kdb file, it worked well. I dont know if this is an app change or an iPhone change. I can still open .kdb files from my PC using KeePass Password Safe. My thots on the iKeePass app vs the MiniKeePass app (which is free): 1. Both apps work well on the iPhone 5 (purchased Dec 26, 2012). 2. The MiniKeePass app works well even on my old First Gen iPad whereas iKeePass keeps crashing. (The fact that something still works on my First Gen makes me happy.) 3. The MiniKeePass app is more user-friendly for people who dont want to think about what they are doing; they just wanna download/access their files. iKeePass is a bit geekier and has more options; not as intuitive. 4. The MiniKeePass contains HELP FILES!! iKeePass has THE LAMEST Help (computer and app versions) that I have EVER seen in my life. Luckily, KeePass Password Safe is fairly seamless for the PC, which is why I will continue to use it; but if you ever have an issue, forget about getting it resolved!! :)

Wanted it to work

I tried over and over using each of the import methods but none would open my keepass v2 database. The Web server, http download, and others seemed to work to get the file on the phone, but continually got errors trying to open. Had to switch to KyPass which has been working fine.

Needs Some Work

Its ok… I wish the sync process was better though. If I download via HTTP there doesnt seem to be a way to transfer that keepass db back to my desktop. If I try to re-sync it overwrites whats on my iPad with whats on the server. There should at least be an option to merge or tell me that its going to overwrite.

Google Drive support

I do not use this application because it doesnt have Google Drive support. Would it be possible to add that feature?

Could not connect to Dropbox

I could never connect to Dropbox. Each time I attempted to connect the app crashed. I tried to get support but no luck.

This app simply doesnt work with no support

Terrible app with no support.

Meh

Great idea, poor execution. App constantly crashes when opening database in Dropbox. Dropbox link should have option to only sync when you tell it to. Given other reviews, I am not hopeful about support.

Not bad.

Yes the lack of a manual or help file was a bit annoying. But it syncd with my Dropbox on the first attempt. So maybe Im lucky? Works just fine for me.
